Mission & History

The mission of the Guthrie County First Responder Initiative is to enhance emergency medical response in rural Guthrie County by reducing response times, equipping first responders with advanced life-saving tools, and expanding EMS training within local fire departments. Through a dedicated ALS first responder unit and strategic partnerships, we strive to ensure that every resident has access to timely, high-quality prehospital care. By empowering volunteers, strengthening community-based EMS capabilities, and fostering collaboration with public health and emergency services, our goal is to save lives, improve patient outcomes, and build a more resilient emergency response system for Guthrie County.
